This might also be a marketing ploy, after the released the source code accidently. Investors might wonder if the source code was available and can easily be cloned, then the value of Anthropic is going to go down, but then comes this magic model that can find bugs hidden for decades and is so powerful that we have to limit who can use it. Investors see this and think that the company still has new innovations that are worth investing in. But this new model may not significantly be better than other models and in the end, it was all hype to keep the company from going down the drain.
