“Counting on” alum Joy-Anna Duggar and her husband, Austin Forsyth, are expecting their fourth child together—as they continue to build their dream farmhouse.
The 28-year-old reality TV star took to Instagram to share a carousel of snaps announcing her pregnancy alongside Forsyth.
In the post, Duggar could be seen cradling her bump as she donned a long white dress. In one of the flicks, Forsyth placed his hands under his wife’s growing belly as he grinned down at her. The last photo showcased the couple’s sonogram.
“Coming 2027!! So much joy, so much excitement, and so much love for this little one already. God knew we needed you,” the couple wrote in their caption, adding that the pictures were taken by none other than their children, Gideon, 8, and Evelyn, 5. The couple also shares three-year-old son, Gunner.
The news of their pregnancy comes as the couple continues to focus on building their dream dwelling.
In March, they finally landed a buyer for their Fayetteville, AR, property—seven months after putting the dwelling on the market, so they could relocated to a more sizable home with their children.
And while the wait may have been frustrating, it has proven to be worthwhile after the couple secured an offer of $381,000—$12,000 over their original asking price.
The mom and Forsyth put their humble abode on the market in August 2024 for $369,000, explaining at the time that they had moved to a rental property that boasts far more land for their kids to roam around on.
Their former family home, in which they welcomed two of their three children, offered just 1,731 square feet of living space, including three bedrooms and three bathrooms, as well as ample natural light and an elegant neutral decor scheme.
Described as being “brimming with character” in its original listing, the home boasts wood floors throughout, large windows, and built-ins. The modern kitchen includes an island with bar seating, granite counters, and stainless steel appliances.
Steps away, the living space includes a fireplace with a stone surround, and there’s also room for a dining table. A large porch expands the living space and offers a perch for entertaining or simply enjoying the natural surroundings.
There’s tile flooring in one of the updated bathrooms, while the primary bath has oversized, marblelike tile in the shower and vanity lights over the sink. There’s also a laundry room, ceiling fans, and floor-to-ceiling drapes on the windows.
Set on nearly an acre, the property opens directly onto Kessler Mountain Regional Park, which offers walking and biking trails.
Plus, the convenient locale is just 2.5 miles from the University of Arkansas and 1.5 miles from the freeway.
The property is also just a 20-minute drive from the enormous compound owned by Duggar’s parents, former reality stars Jim Bob and Michelle, who purposely built their expansive home in order to house their growing brood—which eventually expanded to 19 children.
And while Duggar recently insisted that she doesn’t not have “any desire” to have 19 kids of her own, she did reveal that she and Forsyth wanted to find a property where their kids might have more space to run around.
In September, Duggar showcased a series of images of herself and her family inside their charming property.
Duggar shared two photos in the post, the first of which shows her and her husband standing in their kitchen with their three children after packing up their property.
“This is our LAST family picture in our home of almost 5 years,” she posted. “We’re a sweaty mess after moving, but this picture starts a new adventure! We are so so excited to see what the next few years hold.”
In a sentimental nod to the memories the family has made inside the home, Duggar added a second photo—the very first family picture they took after moving into the house, which shows the proud mom and dad standing on their front porch with Gideon.
Joy provided a little more intel on Instagram stories, telling her followers, “We have always dreamed of living on some land, having room for the kids to roam, having a farm, all of that. And the next right step for us was to move, and so we ended up moving two weeks ago.”
She added, “We are in a rental for a while, but God answered so many prayers just for the rental that we were looking for, the area that we were looking in. We had been looking for like, four or five months, every day. … This one kind of fell in our laps.”
She teased, “I’ll have to give you guys a house tour soon. But we are already settled in this house. The moving process went so, so well.”
Duggar rose to stardom while appearing in her family’s popular TLC reality show, “19 Kids and Counting,” alongside her 18 siblings and parents.
The reality TV star, who has been in the public eye since a young age, stepped back from her YouTube show to instead stay focused on her family.
