  1. I suppose this tidbit of info may possibly be useful to a complete noob, but it doesn't seem remotely possible a noob is going to find this teaser popup on the CMC landing page (that's what led me here). Guaging by the interaction on YT, I opine its a waste of screen space, as is the $ it cost to create the lil pop-up, it doesn't really fill any need or desire on the web page's layout. If anything, it's cluttering the page.
My view is, anyone who knows enough about crypto to choose CMC as an "information portal on all things crypto" (for lack of a proper descriptor), knows the f*ck about BTC's beginnings.
I learned WHAT crypto is (in general) from various content creators on YT. During my early knowledge gathering educational days, BTC was in the educational material often. As my knowledge of crypto expanded, I discovered CMC and began learning (what little I know) how to navigate the site, and trying to understand what the many options are capable of providing (information wise), what "it" means, and how to fully use it. The knowledge I've gained on CMC site usage is about a DIXI Cup's worth compared to an Olympic-sized swimming pool.
I (do I dare say "love") love CMC. It's my go-to portal for many things crypto. The devs have produced a great site on many fronts, but, in my opinion, the lil coinbites pop-up, is useless clutter. Who's ever idea it was to place it there . . . (I really like this monicker, so I'll not share* what I desire to.)♥
